Oil and Cold Wax is my medium!

My work is Cold Wax Medium. It is a mix of cold beeswax and oil paints. This mix creates a smooth paste that I am able to spread, brush paint and create texture with. I enjoy creating a piece of art that may appear 2 dimensional while the created texture changes the image to 3 dimensional.

Bredesen Morning

I’ve spent many mornings walking the nature path in Bredesen Park in Edina. This is a view I would see every time. Being able to count on this visual repetively brought a welcome smile!

Art A Whirl 2018 NE Minneapolis 2018

My first time showing, ever!  I exhibited in the Architectural Antiques Building, occupying part of the 2nd Floor Hallway.  My only expectation was to have fun, be social and enjoy comments and discussion around my paintings.

I was so surprised!  My art was well received !   I learned so much about myself and my sense of creativity.  I am always inspired by color, shapes and texture and the feedback supported just that.  I am looking forward to next year!
